The Green in Glaisdale
Built in the late 17th century and situated in the pretty village of Glaisdale in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, The Green used to be the village post office. Now, it is a beautiful 3 bedroomed cottage with a village shop and great butchers within a couple of minutes walk and a pub around 15 minutes walk down the hill.
This centrally heated cottage has a well equipped kitchen, separate lounge and dining rooms and plenty of space for boots and coats. On the first floor, there is a good sized double bedroom opposite the family bathroom (which has bath and shower) and a king size bedroom with en-suite toilet and basin with views out to the garden and the village green. The other king size bedroom is in the loft with two big roof windows looking out onto fantastic views. On the ground floor, there is a newly installed wet room shower with toilet.
The large lounge looks out onto the village green and the spacious dining room adjoins the kitchen and opens out through French windows to the garden where there is a BBQ and alfresco table and chairs.
It is an ideal base for many holiday activities such as cycling, hiking, surfing, shopping and sightseeing. Close enough to Whitby for nights out, but quiet enough to feel like a secluded break, the cottage has a wealth of amenities to help you enjoy the surroundings and still feel at home
Free wifi is available throughout the house.
There is ample parking near the property.
